Sonya J. Wells is a seasoned Senior Care Advocate, Licensed Chaplain, Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Certified Assisted Living Manager (CALM), and licensed Life Insurance and Life Settlement Broker serving seniors, families, and healthcare professionals throughout North Texas. With more than seven years of experience in the senior care industry, Sonya brings compassion, knowledge, and hands-on experience to families navigating important healthcare and long-term care decisions.
Sonya began her career assisting seniors with Medicare supplements, life insurance, and long-term care planning, helping individuals understand their options and prepare for future healthcare and financial needs. She later expanded into preneed and end-of-life planning, providing families with guidance during some of life's most sensitive transitions.
Her experience as a Community Sales Director in memory care strengthened her expertise in helping families identify appropriate residential care for loved ones living with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Today, through Heartfelt Senior Care Agency, Sonya advocates for seniors and assists families with placement options including Residential Care Homes, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living.
Sonya also has extensive experience in hospice care, collaborating with physicians, case managers, social workers, healthcare professionals, patients, and families to educate them about hospice benefits and help coordinate compassionate end-of-life care.
As a Licensed Chaplain, Sonya brings an additional dimension of emotional and spiritual support to her work, recognizing that major healthcare transitions affect not only the individual but the entire family.
Her background as a Life Insurance and Life Settlement Broker further enables her to educate seniors and families about financial options that may help address long-term care and end-of-life needs.
Sonya's multifaceted career is unified by one purpose: advocating for people and helping families navigate difficult decisions with compassion, dignity, knowledge, and support. Her extensive senior-care experience, healthcare relationships, financial-services background, and heart for serving others make her a trusted resource for seniors, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
